History of Mizuno Baseball Gloves

Mizuno Corporation was founded by Rihachi Mizuno in 1906 in Osaka, Japan. It did not begin selling athletic equipment in the U.S. until 1980, starting with athletic footwear.

Mizuno USA established a baseball glove manufacturing facility at its headquarters in Norcross, GA in 1994. More than 200 current Major League baseball players use Mizuno equipment.

The corporate philosophy which states "Contributing to society through the advancement of sporting goods and the promotion of sports," is clearly reflected in their strong support of numerous worlwide sport events and their dedication to advancing sports through cutting edge technology and research.

Mizuno brings it's unique story of old-world craftsmanship and cutting edge technology to athletes throughout the world by offering more than 10 styles of baseball and softball gloves, but by far the best choice for a beginner is the Mizuno Pro Series, GPL1150. It is a mid-priced glove that offers the best chance at consistently catching the baseball. The Dual V-FLex helps "initiate" the closure of the glove and the patented PowerClose lets youth close the glove and catch the ball like no other glove on the market.
